Fall 2008 Season
Opening
Day
Please note
that due to safety concerns players will not be
allowed to ride on the fire trucks!
Meet at the
Town Hall at 11:45- Opening Ceremony will last
about 45 minutes on Burke Field with games
following.
Please do
NOT park on the dirt road near the horse arena!
At opening
day we will have: Concessions, Fried Dough, Order
Soccer Jackets, Soccer Dance Tickets on sale,
Revolution Tickets on Sale
Mandatory
Coaches meeting
August 26, 6:30pm
at the Lions Club.
Annual
Soccer Dance
Will be held
at the Fireside Restaurant on Saturday, October
18. Dinner, Buffet and Dancing. Tickets can be
purchase individually or by table. Get your
tickets at the stand on opening day or anytime
after or contact the Fund Raising Director. This
is a great night for soccer moms and dads!
RYS Night at the
Revolution
Mary
Lou Arruda Tournament
Will be held
on November 8th and 9th, 2008. A per team fee is
required. More information coming very soon!
RYS
Fundraising
As the Fall
season begins RYS fundraising activities get
underway. The first fundraiser "Cash
Calendars" are crucial to the support of RYS.
Each player is asked to sell 10 calendars but can
sell more if desired! We will offer 2 prizes for
the most calendars sold by an individual player
and a pizza party for the team that sells the
most!
Registration
is STILL open, but don't forget the late fee of $15.00
(one late fee per family).
Teams will
be formed in August, then coaches will contact
players. Games begin Opening Day weekend.

League - Fee
is $65
U8
Players born between 8/1/00 and 7/31/02
U10
Players born between 8/1/98 and 7/31/00
U12
Players born between 8/1/96 and 7/31/98
U14
Players born between 8/1/94 and 7/31/96
Primo
League
- Fee is $35
The Primo
League is for players in high school.
Teams are co-ed. Games are generally on Sunday
mornings.
SoccerPups - Fee is $35
The
SoccerPups program is an introduction to soccer
for kids in kindergarten (players born
between 8/1/02 and 8/31/03). Sessions
are on Saturday mornings.
The program
begins with a short meeting on 9/5 at 7pm at
Burke field when shirts will be distributed and
details about the program will be covered. The
actual sessions will begin on Saturday morning 9/13
and run through October.

In addition
to registration form, full payment and copy of
players birth certificate (if new to RYS)
must be submitted.
The maximum
payment for a family is $165 (if
registrations for all siblings are completed in
full and received by the Registrar by the
registration deadline).
Registrations
not completed in full and received by the
Registrar by the registration deadline will be
subject to a $15 late fee.
(One late fee per family. If late fee
applies, then family maximum is $180.)
