Coaches Youth
Development Program
U-14 and above players will be paired off with
an adult coach to be an assistant coach for an In-town
program. The Volunteer developmental coaches will
help run practices and facilitate the running of
games.
Benefits of the Developmental Coaches
Program:
- Able to work with youth teaching soccer
skills
- Credit for Hours volunteering/helping a
community program (can be used for resume
on college application, honor society,
church, etc)
- A coachs shirt for all participants
- G license paid for by RYS (done on line)
- Coachs Bag
- An opportunity to learn how to better
teach the sport
- A certificate of participation upon
successful completion.
Expectations:
- Be able to help out at least once a week
for the season
- Take on-line G course
- Able to relate appropriately to players
and families.
- Communicate upcoming events and help with
RYS announcements
- Supervised by an Adult or Director.
- Participants Parental approval.
- 2 Year age difference between participant
and player.
