RYS Storm - Fall Travel

Tryouts: May 21st & May 22nd - 6pm-8pm (make-up due to rain is May 23rd 4pm-6pm)

Registration: April 25th at the RYS Fields from 9-3 (Required)

RYS Storm has exciting opportunities for travel teams this fall. Teams will be competing in the South Shore League.

Fall Travel Refund Policy:   After registration, fee minus $20; once uniforms are ordered, fee minus $20 and cost of uniform, July 20 on, no refund.  Late fee after April 25th, $15 late fee per player.  

What is Fall Travel South Shore League?
The South Shore Fall is a travel league that consists of teams from towns on the south shore, (second largest in the state). The season is seven to eight weeks long, usually starting the second week in September. It is open to U10-U14 teams, with three divisions. All games are on Saturdays, with some games away and some at home. Home games are generally after 3:00. Away games depend on the host team.

Age Groupings:
U10* Players born between 8/1/00 - 8/31/03
U12 Players born between 8/1/98 - 7/31/00
U14 Players born between 8/1/96 - 7/31/98
U16 Players born between 8/1/94 - 7/31/96
U18 Players born between 8/1/92 - 7/31/94
* Players in 2nd grade may try out for the U10 division

Players interested in playing on an RYS Storm travel team must attend at least one tryout (two is better). Teams will be assembled based on interest and abilities of players.

What if there are not enough players interested in playing in the league I want to play in?
We will make every effort to assemble teams to meet the interests of all players, but in some cases that may not be possible. We will do our best to come up with options to suit as many players as possible.

Can I participate in an in-town league if I'm selected for a travel team?
Yes, but there might be some schedule conflicts - Home games will not be a conflict with in-town games but away games could be.

RYS is committed to providing as many options as possible for players to play soccer at various levels. We strive to accommodate all players' interests, recognizing that plans may be limited by numbers of interested players and level of abilities. We will make every effort to provide opportunities for all players.
