RYS Storm - Fall Travel

Fall In Town will have 10 games and travel will have 6. Travel starts October 1st. This should guarantee that there will be no regularly scheduled conflicts between Travel and In Town so players can participate in both!

Fall Clinics (Upddated 9/30)

There will be two clinics with Darren Marshall in October:
October 5th - Wednesday
5:00PM - 5:45PM - U10G - Field Two
5:45PM - 6:30PM - U12G - Field Two
6:30PM - 7:15PM - U14G - Field One

October 12th - Wednesday
5:00PM - 5:45PM - U10B - Field Two
5:45PM - 6:30PM - U12B - Field Two
6:30PM - 7:15PM - U14B - Field Two
These will be held at the Dome.  Indoor shoes must be worn.

Due to EEE curfew: Clinics now changed to 5-8pm at the dome effective this wednesday. Friday is available for 90mins for practice purposes. Please be flexible, as everyone will be vying for this space...

The updated clinic schedule is through September (dome needs to set October schedule by the end of this week). One additional clinic per age group will be added in October TBA.

The first tryout date is Tuesday 6/7 from 5:30 - 7pm. Check-In will begin at 5:15, where the players will receive their numbers and proceed to the field for Tryouts. The other scheduled dates are Thursday 6/9 and Friday 6/10, also at 5:30pm with a 5:15 check-in. A rain date of 6/11 has been reserved

UPDATED: 5/17 Fall Travel Registration cancelled due to rain.
Weather permitting we will have registration on 5/19, 5/20 and 5/24 from 5-7 pm down the fields.

Coaches:
If you are planning on turning in a coaches application please make sure we receive it before the end of registration.

Any registration received after May 25th will have a $15 per player late fee added to the registration fee. All fees must be received before the player will be allowed to try-out.

Try-outs are being held 6/7, 6/9, 6/10 rain date 6/11. Times are to be announced shortly.

How can I join a travel team?
Players interested in playing on an RYS Storm travel team must register for the program and attend at least one tryout (two is better). Teams will be assembled based on interest and abilities of players.

We will make every effort to assemble teams to meet the interests of all players, but in some cases that may not be possible. We will do our best to come up with options to suit as many players as possible.

Travel games at home/away should not conflict with in-town games. Most games with the Cranberry league are after 3 pm on Saturdays.

We are organizing teams for the Fall 2011 season in the following divisions:
U10* Players born between 8/1/01 and 8/31/04
U12 Players born between 8/1/99 and 7/31/01
U14 Players born between 8/1/97 and 7/31/99
* Players in 2nd grade may try out for the U10 division.
