Travel Information
If anyone wishes to coach
Spring soccer you need to submit an application
by Oct 1 - Coach
Application
Players must
tryout in their own age division. All players must attend at
least one try-out to be considered for a travel
team. Team selection decisions
will be made based on tryouts and playing history.
Players will be rated at each tryout and given a score. The best
of all their scores will be used to rank players
for team selection. The more tryouts a player attends, the
better chance of achieving a higher score. Players must make a commitment to
attend all practices, clinics, and games.
Participation in
a fall program is not required for participation
in the spring. Fee for travel teams is $90.
Please note; There
is no family maximum for fees for travel teams.
All
players must complete registration prior to
attending a try-out. In addition to registration form,
full payment and a copy of player's birth
certificate must be submitted. Copy of birth certificate is required
only if not on file with RYS.
Each player (U12
and up only) also must supply a 1" x IVz" color photo (head
shot) for an ID card.
Registration
will be held at the Lion's Club on October 3 from
8am-3pm.
Players have
three options: a.
- Fill out
the attached registration form and turn
it in on 10/3 along with fee, birth
certificate, and photo.
- Log on to SportsPilot, our online
registration system. If you choose this option you
must bring a copy of the paid receipt,
birth certificate, and photo on 10/3.
- If you
register online and choose the option to
pay by check, you must bring the check,
registration confirmation,
birth certificate, and photo on 10/3.
Regardless of
which option you choose, please note that no
registrations will be accepted unless payment is received by 10/3.
If a player is not selected for a team, the fee
will be refunded.
Once
registration is completed on 10/3, we will take
information concerning your child's shirt and
short size. There will be samples to
try on if needed.
We will give
each player a number that must be placed on the
front and back of their shirt during tryouts. Numbers will not be given out at
tryouts, so please do not misplace them.
